What is an Alpha course? Over 8 million people have now attended an Alpha course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, running in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting and here at Church in the Community Leicester we will be doing this over eight thought-provoking Monday evenings with a different Chinese meal each week. We also are planning a Saturday day away half way through the course. The whole course is free of charge. It is low-key, friendly and fun, and is supported by all the main Christian denominations. |
