"Our passion is to worship God;

the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

and to enjoy His presence

whenever we gather together"

Our Aim ...

Our aim is to build a loving and vibrant expression of Christian community, seeking to win the hearts of those who live around us with the good news of Jesus. With a passionate commitment to build the church according to New Testament principles, we believe that the most effective form of evangelism is worked out from strong local churches.

King's Church is a place where each member participates, the gifts of the Spirit are outworked, there is joy in caring one for the other, there is a desire to make a difference in society and an urgency to reach those in need.

King's Church Leicester is lead by an eldership team (see sidebar). We meet together as a church every Sunday and within Small Groups during the week.

If you have visited us and are interested in becoming a member, please speak contact the church office. They will provide you with details of our membership course where you will learn more about the church, Newfrontiers, our vision and values and why membership within a church is important.

Our History ...

In 1997 a group of people from several different Newfrontiers churches planted 'Church in the Community Leicester'. Once established the church grew and we met in Hazel Street Primary School, where we still hold many of our activities. In 2008 our Sunday morning congregation moved to meet in the Alliance and Leicester Stand at the Tigers and we changed our name to 'King's Church'.

Newfrontiers

Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches with over 800 churches in over 50 nations around the world.
